Baran, Rajasthan : Under the "Surya Ki Urja Se Sanvarta Bharat" initiative, Adani Foundation has installed solar panel systems in 15 schools across Baran district. This installation will ensure uninterrupted power supply for daily activities and student studies at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
The inauguration of the solar panel system was carried out by Adani Power Plant HR Head Mr. Deepak Sharma, CSR Head Mr. Gopal Singh Devda, and Deputy Commissioner of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Dr. Ajay Kumar. Adani Power Plant Head Mr. Pramod Saxena stated that this initiative will benefit over 4,500 students in the district.
Dr. Ajay Kumar expressed gratitude to Adani Foundation for setting up the solar plant at the school and extended best wishes to the school community. Adani Power HR Head Mr. Deepak Sharma mentioned that under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Priti Adani, Adani Foundation is running various social welfare programs across the country. The installation of solar energy systems in schools will help save electricity costs and ensure 24-hour power supply.
CSR Head Mr. Gopal Singh Devda highlighted that Adani Foundation conducts various initiatives for education, healthcare, livelihood development, and infrastructure growth. This year, the foundation has undertaken a project to power schools with solar energy, addressing electricity shortages that previously impacted student learning.
Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mr. Ramkesh Bairwa, thanked Adani Foundation for their support. Project Officer Mr. Manish Nandwana shared that solar power systems have been installed in 15 schools across the district, ensuring continuous electricity supply for school operations.
