A three-day capacity-building program was organized by Adani Foundation at the Adani Power Plant, where 25 women from 15 villages of the block participated. In this program, women were trained in the art of making soaps using neem, aloe vera, rose, tulsi, turmeric, and gram flour.

Adani Power Plant Head Pramod Saxena stated that the foundation conducts such programs across various regions to empower women and make them self-reliant. CSR Head Rajasthan, Gopal Singh Devda, mentioned that this training program was specifically organized for the women members of the Hadoti Progressive Producer Company, established by Adani Foundation.

Project Officer Ramcharan Chaudhary shared that over 800 women are currently associated with the Hadoti Progressive Producer Company. Selected women were included in this training, where on the first day, they learned the soap-making process, and over the next two days, they made soaps themselves.

Nitesh Singh and Sangeeta from the Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Mission, Kota, provided training and encouraged women to pursue self-employment. Adani Foundation’s Wasim Akram also motivated women to join the program and become self-reliant.
