Udaipur | Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and MD of Bharti Airtel, has been appointed as the Interim Chairman of the GSMA Board. This appointment came after the resignation of José María Álvarez-Pallete, Chairman and CEO of Telefónica, from his position.
Recently, Gopal Vittal was also elected as the Deputy Chair of the GSMA Board for the second time. He had previously served as an important member of the board during 2019-2020. With extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, this appointment highlights his leadership abilities and expertise.
