Jio Sound Pay Service: UPI Payment Alerts for Free

On the occasion of Republic Day, Jio has launched its new service ‘Jio Sound Pay’, which will be available for free on the Jio Bharat Phone for a lifetime. This service will provide audio alerts for UPI payments without the need for a sound box. It will benefit over 50 million small and micro merchants across the country.

The service will be especially useful for grocery stores, vegetable vendors, and small shopkeepers, as they will no longer need to spend ₹125 per month on sound boxes, enabling them to save up to ₹1,500 annually.

Available on the Jio Bharat Phone, priced at ₹699, this service will prove to be a beneficial option for small merchants. Jio’s President, Sunil Dutt, said, "Jio believes in leveraging technology to empower every Indian."
