UCCI's 60th Foundation Day on February 12

Udaipur, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 – The 60th Foundation Day celebration of the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) will be held at P.P. Singhal Auditorium in the UCCI building at 9:30 AM. On this occasion, entrepreneurs who have achieved remarkable accomplishments throughout the year will be honored with the "UCCI Excellence Award - 2025."

Dr. Pawan Talesara, Honorary Secretary of UCCI, stated that the Chief Guest for the event will be Mr. Ajay Shriram, Chairman & Senior Managing Director of DCM Shriram Limited. During the ceremony, he will share his industrial and business experiences with entrepreneurs from the Udaipur division. Additionally, industrialists and businesspersons from eight districts of Southern Rajasthan—Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, and Sirohi—will participate in the event.

Mr. Manish Godha, Chairman of the UCCI Excellence Award Standing Committee, mentioned that a review meeting was held with the jury panel members, including:

• Mr. Shailendra Agarwal, Former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan
• Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director, IIM Udaipur
• Mr. Shriram Balasubramaniam, Former Managing Director, State Bank of India
• Mr. Salil Bhandari, Founder, BGJC Consulting
• Mr. Priten Bangariwala, Senior Vice President, Aditya Birla Group
• Mr. Raunak Shah, CEO, Seva Mandir

UCCI President, Mr. M.L. Lunawat, informed that the UCCI Excellence Award - 2025 will be presented to entrepreneurs based on key parameters such as job creation, social responsibility, protection of female employees, and contributions to industrial and economic development. After an independent audit, shortlisted companies' production units and service sectors were visited by UCCI members for evaluation.

The final awardees of the UCCI Excellence Award - 2025 will be announced during the award ceremony on February 12, 2025. The Chief Guest, Mr. Ajay Shriram, will present the awards and certificates of appreciation to the outstanding entrepreneurs.
