Rajasthan’s Animal Husbandry Minister, Joraram Kumawat, inaugurated development works worth ₹3.51 crore on Thursday in Khari Ka Lamba Gram Panchayat of Gulabpura sub-division, Bhilwara district. During the event, the minister highlighted the achievements of government schemes and strongly reacted to the statements made by Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara.
Land Titles for Villagers, Cycles for Students
At the event organized at the Khari Ka Lamba Gram Panchayat headquarters, Minister Kumawat distributed land titles to 245 villagers for their homes. Additionally, bicycles were distributed to five meritorious girls from the panchayat area. The program witnessed the presence of Asind MLA Jabbar Singh Sankhla, BJP district president Prashant Mewada, Hurda Pradhan Krishna Singh Rathore, Khari Ka Lamba Sarpanch Divyani Rathore, other BJP leaders, and sub-divisional officials.
Sharp Retort to Congress
Responding to the statements of Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara, Minister Kumawat asserted that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is working with sensitivity and a vision for development. He accused Congress leaders of engaging in baseless politics and misleading the public with irresponsible statements. He urged both the ruling and opposition parties to work together for the betterment of the state instead of creating unnecessary tension through rhetoric.
Focus on Animal Husbandry Initiatives
Minister Kumawat shed light on the state government’s Mangal Pashu Bima Yojana, stating that the scheme offers insurance benefits to cattle owners in case of livestock deaths. He further highlighted the services of 536 mobile veterinary units operating across Rajasthan, which provide doorstep animal treatment through a toll-free number (1962).

The minister reiterated the government’s dedication to rural development and animal husbandry. He emphasized that the government’s initiatives are not only alleviating the hardships of cattle owners but also empowering them economically.
