Dr. Srijan Butte of Banswara Becomes Captain in Indian Army

Banswara: Dr. Srijan Butte from Banswara has achieved the prestigious rank of Captain in the Indian Army's Remount Veterinary Corps (RVC). The appointment was officially conferred upon him during the Passing Out Parade (Pipping Ceremony) held at the RVC Centre and College in Meerut on Monday. The ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Major General S.S. Balaji, and Dr. Butte's family members were present to celebrate this momentous occasion. 

In recognition of their contribution to the nation, Dr. Srijan Butte’s parents, Dr. Shekhar Butte and Dr. Sangeeta Butte, were honored with a 'Pride Medal' by the Indian Army for dedicating their son to the service of the country.

**Education Journey in Banswara**

Dr. Srijan Butte completed his primary education at New Look School in Partapur and higher secondary education at New Lum School in Lodha, both in Banswara. He then pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Veterinary Science from Nagpur's Veterinary College. After his selection in the Indian Army's RVC unit, he completed basic military and technical training, eventually securing the position of Captain. Out of many applicants, only 12 candidates were selected across the country, and Dr. Butte was one of them.

**Parents’ Service in Banswara**

Though Dr. Srijan Butte’s family originally hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra, his parents have served in government positions in Banswara. His father, Dr. Shekhar Butte, currently works as the Deputy Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Banswara, and his mother, Dr. Sangeeta Butte, serves as an Ayurvedic doctor in the Ayurvedic Department, Banswara.

Dr. Srijan Butte’s achievement marks a historic moment for Banswara, as it is the first time someone from this district has been inducted into the Indian Army’s prestigious Remount Veterinary Corps. His success is a testament to the dedication and hard work of his family, especially the guidance he received from his father in the field of veterinary science.
