Banswara. Ujas Family organized a literary event centered around Basant Panchami and Gargi Jayanti. In this literary gathering, eminent poets, shayars, and literature enthusiasts from the city offered their contributions.
The ceremony was chaired by educator and litterateur Prakash Pandya, while the chief guest was Garg society pride and former District Education Officer, Ranchhod Garg. The special guests included senior shayar and dohakaar Saeed Manzar, former Sarpanch and social worker from Thikriya Nareng Dodiyar, and technical educationist Pratibha Jain. The event was coordinated by Bhawer Garg 'Madhukar,' with Meenakshi Garg expressing gratitude.
The program began with the guests offering prayers to Lord Vishnu’s picture, lighting the lamp, and presenting garlands. The attendees collectively sang the Saraswati Stuti ‘Ya Kundendu Tushar Hara Dhwala’ in unison. Following this, Ujas Family members Jagdish Garg, Saraswati Garg, and Vijay Garg welcomed the guests and literary figures with garlands.
To start the event, Taresh Dave presented the Saraswati Vandana, ‘Hey! Sharade Maa Kripa Tumhari Bars Rahi Hai Mere Swaron Mein...’ In the literary gathering, senior poet Harish Acharya paid tribute to the shadowy poet Sunil Tripathi 'Nirala' with the lines, ‘As they were inside, they were the same outside. Without worrying about the end, they did what they said. They sang tunes on thorns... Nirala was born in the season of flowers.’ He also recalled the contribution of Gargi Rishi in astrology and encouraged the descendants of Gargi Rishi with the call, ‘Be the light of your own lamp and dispel the darkness of the world, O descendants of Gargi Rishi! Resolve yourselves.’ He then presented a Wagdi Ghazal, ‘Nadi No Kanaro Ne Malashyo Amain Nawadu Sodi Ne Aiywa...’ offering a change of mood for the audience.
On the occasion of the Basant Utsav, nationalist volunteer Vittal D. Acharya, who had recently returned from the grand religious Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, was also felicitated by the Ujas family. He shared interesting stories from his pilgrimage.
Senior educator and litterateur Prakash Pandya presented the poem ‘Jisne Ujade Sarsabz Baag, Us Patjhar Ka Bas-Ant Likha,’ which was met with applause from the audience. Sweet lyricist Taresh Dave’s rendition ‘Tum Kisi Aur Ki Raaton Ko Amavas Kar Ke, Apni Raaten Kabhi Purnima Bana Nahi Sakte’ also received great applause.
Educator and poet Amita Sharma delivered a poem with the message, ‘Badi Mushkilon Se Mili Hai Ye Manzile Humko, Inhe Sanwarna Hamari Jimmedari Hai Doston!’ urging citizens to fulfill their moral duties towards the nation. Senior poet Saeed Manzar praised the values of the Ujas family and recited the composition, ‘Maa Iski Bunyad Hai, Iski Chhat Hai Baap, Ghar Ki Har Ek Cheez Par, Hai Dono Ki Chhap.’
Naveen Trivedi addressed the gathering, appreciating Ujas Family's efforts to work collectively, similar to the Nirankar Mission, which deserves praise. Sunil Kant Trivedi, Meenakshi Garg, and Pooja Taresh Dave enchanted the audience with various songs and bhajans themed on Vidushi Gargi and Basant Panchmi.
On this occasion, Manish Jain, Dinesh Patel, Bansilal Charpota, Renuka Garg, Natasha, Roshita, Urvi, and Pratham also extended creative support.
