Udaipur: Dr. Yuvraj Singh, Dean of BN College of Pharmacy, Udaipur, informed that 50 B.Pharm students undertook an industrial visit to leading pharmaceutical companies in Ahmedabad, including Otsuka, Amneal, and Zydus. The primary objective of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the processes and technologies used in the pharmaceutical industry.
During the visit, students observed the manufacturing processes of injectables, tablets, and capsules. They also gained insight into key operational areas such as Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), packaging, engineering, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Air Handling Units (AHU), microbiology, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The students were guided throughout the visit by Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Dr. Jitendra Singh Rajawat, and Dr. Harshita. They received in-depth information about various industrial procedures and technologies and had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify their doubts.
This industrial exposure helped students understand the career opportunities and challenges in the pharmaceutical sector, while also equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills for their future careers.
