Save the Earth: "One Cadet One Tree" Program

Udaipur, December 31: As part of the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" camp organized by the 5 Raj Girls NCC at the Bhupal Nobles campus, a tree plantation program was conducted by Krishna Kalyan Sanstha, Udaipur. Founder Maya Behn explained the significance of tree plantation to the cadets. Camp Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Manmohan Singh Rawat led the plantation drive under the "One Cadet One Tree" initiative.

The cadets planted various saplings in the Bhupal Nobles campus and pledged to protect the environment and keep nature green. Each cadet also took responsibility for nurturing the saplings they planted. Deputy Camp Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Shailendra Singh Rathore, Major Anita Rathore, Subedar Major Anil Kumar, and Senior GCI Anjana Rao were present on the occasion.

Additionally, under the National Integration Awareness Program, NCC cadets presented a 20-minute theatrical performance showcasing their state's historical, political, geographical, artistic, and cultural heritage. Through the performance, the cadets highlighted their region's cuisine, attire, language, and traditions, aiming to educate and engage the audience.
