Geology Students of Bhupal Nobles University Conduct Geological Survey

Udaipur, Dean of Sciences at Bhupal Nobles University, Dr. Renu Rathore, shared that students from the Department of Geology conducted an in-depth study of Rajasthan’s oldest to newest rock formations as part of a five-day geological training program. A group of 20 students explored the 2.5-billion-year-old rocks in Jamuniya ki Naal near Udaipur, volcanic rocks near Nakoda Bhairav dating back 800 million years, and visited the RSSM's steel-making grade limestone mines in Sanu, Jaisalmer.

Dr. Hemant, Head of the Geology Department, reported that students also studied rock formations in Sirohi, Giral lignite mines in Barmer, and the sandstone mines in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, gaining significant geological insights. Assistant Professor Karan Singh Chundawat accompanied the students, providing essential knowledge in geology throughout the excursion.

The institute's acting president, Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Secretary Dr. M.S. Agariya, Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rathore, and University Registrar Dr. N.N. Singh Rathore extended their best wishes for the success of this educational geological tour.
