Udaipur, The Dandiya festival, vibrant with colorful attire and decorations, filled the premises of Bhupal Nobles Postgraduate College with enthusiasm and energy as students and faculty members came together for a lively celebration. The event, set against the backdrop of the nine forms of Goddess Durga, began with a grand aarti led by University Chairperson Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, President Dr. Mahendra Singh Agarwal, Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rathore, Joint Secretary Rajendra Singh Tana, Registrar Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh Khod, Dean of Science Faculty Dr. Renu Rathore, Dean of Commerce Faculty Dr. Rajendra Singh Shaktawat, Management Faculty Director Dr. Rajni Arora, Associate Dean of Science Faculty Dr. Ritu Tomar, and Associate Dean of Arts Faculty Dr. J.S. Bhati, along with faculty members and students.
The atmosphere was electric as the youth danced to various songs, embodying the spirit of the festival. Participants offered their devotion to the Goddess through rhythmic movements, immersing themselves in the celebration. Various competitions were also held during the event, with judges Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Dr. Anita Rathore, and Dr. Lokeshwari Rathore overseeing the activities.
To make the event more exciting, prizes were awarded in categories such as Best Attire, Best Dance, and Best Hairstyle, recognizing the talents of selected participants. Among the staff competition winners were Dr. Deepti Suhalka, Dr. Anjali Goyal, Dr. Hariom Singh Ranawat, and Dr. Hemant Sen, while Mrs. Geeta Devi emerged victorious among the staff members.
