Literary Competitions Organized by the Sanskrit and English Departments at B.N. Girls College

Udaipur. The Sanskrit and English Departments of Bhupal Nobles University’s girls’ unit organized literary competitions as part of their Literary Week. Dean Dr. Shilpa Rathore encouraged participants, stating that such competitions enhance verbal skills. On this occasion, Dr. Madhavi Rathore, the Dean of Student Welfare, emphasized that languages are fundamental to our lives and that such events foster a sense of self-confidence.

Dr. Aparna Sharma from the English Department also praised the efforts of the participants. The Sanskrit Department held a Shloka Recitation competition, while the English Department organized competitions for Impromptu Speech and Debate, with students actively participating.

Chairperson of Bhupal Nobles University, Prof. Colonel Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Secretary of the Vidyaprachaarini Sabha Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore, Managing Director of Bhupal Nobles Institute Mohabbat Singh Rathore, and University Registrar Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh Rathore conveyed their best wishes and stated that the continuity of literary competitions is essential, as they provide opportunities for personality development.

Dr. Pankaj Marmat, head of the Sanskrit Department, announced the winners of the Shloka Recitation competition: Nishita Paliwal secured first place, followed by Bhumi Soni and Payal Patel. Dr. Urmila Purohit from the English Department shared the results of the Impromptu Speech competition, where Deepika Dewda came in first, followed by Bhumi Soni and Priyanshi Lohar. In the Debate competition, Lubhani Suhalka, Levanshi Kunwar Chohan, and Fatima Alamshah took the top three spots.

The judging panel included Dr. Priyanka Shaktawat, Dr. Pushpa Verma, and Manasvini Sodha.
