Bhupal Nobles University Celebrates "A Tree in the Name of Mother" Initiative with Major Tree Planting Event

Bhupal Nobles University in Udaipur orchestrated a significant tree planting event under the auspices of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "A Tree in the Name of Mother" campaign. The event was held on the university campus and included the participation of the National Service Scheme and NCC units.

Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, the Chairman of Bhupal Nobles University, alongside Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rathore, led the ceremony, planting a variety of trees including neem, mango, jamun, and guava. Prof. Sarangdevot emphasized the foundational role trees play in our lives and encouraged every Indian to adopt a tree in honor of their mothers to help combat global warming and environmental issues.

The event not only fostered a sense of responsibility among students but also highlighted the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and reducing global warming. Managing Director Rathore praised the volunteers and cadets for their efforts and urged continued participation in similar national and social programs.

The ceremony saw active involvement from faculty members and students, with significant contributions from NSS Nodal Officer Dr. Jyotiraditya Singh Bhati, Program Officer Dr. Lokeshwari Rathore, and Major Dr. Anita Rathore, who educated the participants about the importance of tree planting.

Other dignitaries, including Dr. Prem Singh Rawalot, Dean of Postgraduate Studies, and various faculty deans and members, also took part in planting trees, thereby reinforcing the university's commitment to environmental sustainability and education.
