Awareness Program on New Criminal Laws Organized at BN Law Faculty

Udaipur- An awareness program on new criminal laws was held on July 10, 2024, at the Law Faculty of Bhupal Nobles University, supported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The chief guest for the event was Rameshwar Lal Meena, Assistant Director, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Udaipur.

During the program, the chief guest shed light on the significant provisions of three new laws: the Indian Justice Code, the Indian Civil Protection Code, and the Indian Evidence Act. A quiz competition was organized at the end of the program, where students participated enthusiastically and were awarded prizes.

The event was encouraged by the university's chairperson, Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, President Dr. Mahendra Singh Agariya, and Registrar Mohabbat Singh Rathore, who emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives. The program was also attended by Dr. Anila, Dr. Kiran Chouhan, Dr. Shikha Nagarauri, Dr. Pushp Lata Dangi, and Dr. Krishna Ranavat. The program was hosted by Piyush Chavhan, and concluded with a vote of thanks from Dean Dr. Ashutosh Pitaliya.
