Kalidas Jayanti Celebrated with Shloka Writing Competition at Bhupal Nobles University

Udaipur: The Sanskrit Department of the women's unit at Bhupal Nobles University organized a shloka writing competition to commemorate Kalidas Jayanti. Addressing the participants, Dr. Shilpa Rathore, the Dean of the college, extended her best wishes and highlighted the timeless relevance of Kalidas as a literary figure. She emphasized that a writer's work becomes eternal when it is socially relevant, underlining the enduring significance of literature in personal development and encouraging everyone to read more literary works.

Dr. Pankaj Marmat, Head of the Sanskrit Department, elaborated on the life and contributions of the great poet Kalidas. The event saw the presence of esteemed faculty members including Dr. Devendra Singh Sisodia, Dr. Khatoon Aftab Katthawala, Dr. Kanchan Rathore, Dr. Rekha Menaria, Dr. Priyanka Shaktawat, and Dr. Husaini Bohra.

In the competition, Tanvi Sandhya secured the first position, Hiteshree Rathore came in second, and Rajshree Sisodia placed third.
