"Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" NCC Camp Concludes with New Year Celebrations

Udaipur, January 1, 2025: The 12-day "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp," organized by 5 Raj Girls NCC, concluded with a grand cultural ceremony and New Year greetings. The event was held at the premises of Bhupal Nobles Institution, with the presence of Chief Guest Col. Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot (Acting President, Bhupal Nobles Institution), Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore (Minister), Mohabbat Singh Rathore (Managing Director), and Dr. Shilpa Rathore (Dean, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities).


The program commenced with a Saraswati Vandana. Associate NCC Officer, Major Dr. Anita Rathore, welcomed the guests by presenting mementos and also shared the camp report. She detailed the activities conducted during the camp, which included participation from 150 cadets of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate and 450 cadets from the Rajasthan Directorate. The camp's core objective was achieved by promoting cultural exchange, wherein cadets shared art, traditions, attire, and cuisine with each other.

The highlight of the closing ceremony was a cultural program presented by the cadets. The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana cadets performed the traditional Rajasthani Ghoomar dance, while the Rajasthan cadets showcased a traditional Andhra Pradesh dance. Other captivating performances included Bharatnatyam, Kalbeliya, and folk songs narrating the glorious tales of Maharana Pratap.

Chief Guest Prof. Sarangdevot appreciated the cadets' performances and congratulated them on the successful completion of the camp. He encouraged the youth with an inspiring message, stating, "The New Year brings a blank book; let us fill its pages with achievements. Gratitude, time management, and a positive mindset are the keys to success. Hard work is the ultimate mantra for achieving goals."

Camp Commandant Lt. Col. Manmohan Singh Rawat expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Bhupal Nobles Institution and its staff for their unwavering support. He highlighted that the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" camp provided an excellent platform for cadets to understand the unity in diversity of Indian culture.

Winners of various sports and cultural competitions were awarded medals during the event. Associate NCC Officers and GCI were honored with mementos. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Camp Commandant Lt. Col. Shailendra Singh Rathore.

The event was attended by Training Officer of NCC Group Headquarters, Col. Arun Pratap Singh, Col. Vipul Vaya, Col. (Retd.) Rajesh Kumar, Commander (Retd.) Rajendra Kumar, and the staff of Udaipur Group Headquarters.
