‘Sarhad Se Samundar’ Motorcycle Rally Reaches Udaipur

Udaipur: The ‘Sarhad Se Samundar’ motorcycle expedition, organized to mark the 49th Foundation Day of the Indian Coast Guard, reached Udaipur on Wednesday after commencing from Attari on January 22. The rally was welcomed at Udaipur City Palace by educationist, social worker, and former royal family member Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar. Commandants Shyam Sundar and Sandeep Shukla are leading this mission.

Dr. Mewar congratulated the participants and lauded their efforts in national service, emphasizing that such initiatives inspire the younger generation to serve and dedicate themselves to the nation.

Strengthening National Unity and Awareness

Deputy Commander Gaurav Acharya stated that the rally will pass through various towns and villages in Rajasthan and Gujarat, strengthening national spirit among rural communities. During the journey, the team will conduct programs to promote patriotism and social service. The initiative aims to foster national unity, mutual respect, and a strong connection with the country.

The Indian Coast Guard not only safeguards maritime borders but also provides humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and coastal welfare. This expedition serves as a bridge between rural and urban India, ensuring that every citizen feels an integral part of the nation’s progress.

Flagged Off for Kevadia, Gujarat

On Wednesday morning, the rally was flagged off for Kevadia, Gujarat, by Commander of the Battle Axe Division’s Trimshat Brigade. Acharya highlighted that the initiative aligns with various national missions, such as ‘A Tree for Mother,’ ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao,’ and ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.’

The rally also includes interactive sessions with students in schools and colleges, providing insights into the Indian Coast Guard’s values and career opportunities in the armed forces. This journey is not just an expedition but a movement to connect, inspire, and empower individuals for national service.
