###NSS  & DCCI's Fourth National Divyang Cricket Championship Concludes with Mumbai's Triumph

Udaipur, The eleven-day National Cricket Championship, organized by Narayan Seva Sansthan and the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI), concluded with Mumbai claiming the trophy at the BN College Ground on Friday. Founder of Narayan Seva Sansthan, Kailash 'Manav,' blessed the event for its success and upliftment of players.

This championship saw participation from 24 teams across India, with over 350 specially-abled players who displayed remarkable passion and skill over 67 matches. Despite physical challenges, these athletes showcased exceptional talent, winning the admiration of cricket enthusiasts.

Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest, with Maharaj Pratap Singh, Chairman of the Khatu Shyam Temple Committee and DCCI patron, presiding over the event. The tournament’s official report was presented by DCCI Secretary Ravikant Chauhan, who thanked all partners for their support.

In recognition of the participants, numerous awards were distributed to honor their achievements. The "Man of the Match" award went to Ravindra Sante of Mumbai, who received ₹11,000. Other accolades included "Best Bowler" to Satish Kirad from Rajasthan, "Best Fielder" to Kunal Fananse from Maharashtra, and "Best Batsman" to Shivashankar from Karnataka, each receiving ₹25,000. Additionally, the "Player of the Series" Akash Patil from Mumbai was awarded a scooter, while Surendra Khorwal from Rajasthan, the "Star Player of the Tournament," received a car, presented by Shri Chaturbhuj Foundation.

Mumbai emerged as the tournament champion, awarded ₹5 lakhs, while Karnataka, the runner-up, received ₹2.5 lakhs. Host teams Rajasthan and Maharashtra, who reached the semifinals, were also awarded ₹1 lakh each. In the final match, Karnataka set a target of 175 runs, with Narender Mangore scoring 68 runs. Chasing this, Mumbai achieved 178 runs with Ravindra Sante’s 70 and Prasad Chauhan’s 57, winning by 8 wickets.
