On February 4, 2025, students from the M.Sc. Geo-Informatics program at Sangam University visited the Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition (VSSE) in Ahmedabad. Organized by the department head, Dr. Lokesh Kumar Tripathi, this educational tour provided insights into India's advancements in space technology and remote sensing. The students engaged in sessions covering remote sensing, satellite technology, and notable missions like Chandrayaan-3 and the Mars Mission. They also explored exhibits displaying actual rocket components and learned about the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) and India's navigation system, NavIC. The visit continued at Science City Park, where students experienced interactive displays in the Space Hall, observed advancements in artificial intelligence in the Robotic Gallery, and concluded with a tour of the Aquatic Gallery. The students expressed gratitude to the organizers for this enriching experience, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena congratulated them on their successful educational tour.
