Udaipur – Pacific Medical College and Hospital has published a special issue of its journal, Pacific Journal of Medical and Health Sciences, focused on Chrono-Nutrition and Trace Elements. The Chief Editor, Dr. S.K. Verma, and Editor, Ravindra Bangad, formally presented a copy of this special issue to the institution's Chairman, Rahul Agarwal, and CEO, Sharad Kothari, for its official release.
On this occasion, Rahul Agarwal highlighted that this quarterly research journal has been continuously published for the past nine years and is now entering its tenth year. It is distributed free of charge to the libraries of all prestigious medical colleges in the country.
Dr. S.K. Verma, the Chief Editor, shared that the previously published issues have featured research papers not only from various departments of Pacific Medical College but also from institutions in the USA, Nepal, Nigeria, Mumbai, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and other colleges. He credited the editorial team, led by Editor Ravindra Bangad, for their dedicated efforts in compiling and publishing high-quality research work.
Discussing the special issue, Dr. Verma explained that Chrono-Nutrition is a fundamental concept emphasizing that an individual's health is influenced not only by the quantity and quality of food intake but also by the timing of meals and their alignment with the body's circadian rhythm. Currently, extensive research is being conducted in this field, making the publication of this special issue highly significant in the realm of medical science.
