13 Units of Blood Collected at PIMS Blood Donation Camp

Udaipur: A one-day blood donation camp was held on January 24 at the blood bank of the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) under the joint auspices of Venkateshwar Institute of Pharmacy, Sai Tirupati University, and Rajasthan Chemist Alliance. The event marked the 75th birthday celebrations of Jagannath Shinde, during which 13 units of blood were collected.

Students and staff members participated enthusiastically in the camp, showcasing a spirit of humanity through their blood donations. College Principal Khemchand Gupta emphasized the importance of raising awareness about blood donation through such initiatives. He assured participants that donating blood is safe and beneficial and encouraged everyone to come forward for this noble cause, as "blood donation is life-saving."

The camp was successfully managed by Ms. Amita Pujari from the PIMS blood bank.
