A one-day workshop was organized today at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, where an extensive discussion took place regarding the adoption of new answer scripts for exams. The workshop also covered challenges and solutions related to the National Education Policy 2020, the National Academic Depository (NAD), and accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra, while chairing the session, elaborated on the necessity of NAAC accreditation, its process, and the associated benefits. Prof. S.S. Bhanawat also provided detailed insights into the relevance of NAAC accreditation.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Rajesh Chandra Kumawat, Controller of Examinations, who welcomed the principals and heads of various colleges. He emphasized the need and relevance of new answer scripts, which would help accelerate and improve the quality of evaluation processes. He also urged all the principals to cooperate to successfully achieve the goals of the new education policy.
Dr. Avinash Panwar and Sharanjeet Singh provided detailed information on how to implement the new answer scripts effectively, highlighting the precautions required. This innovation will enable examiners to directly enter student marks into the university portal, saving time and facilitating quicker result declarations.
Discussion on the Role of NAD:
During the workshop, Dr. N.K. Parik explained the functionality and need for the Depository System. He shared how students can upload and download their certificates on NAD, ensuring the security of their credentials.
Addressing Challenges in the New Education Policy:
Prof. K.B. Joshi discussed the challenges faced in implementing NEP 2020 and provided solutions. He presented a detailed process for effectively enforcing the policy in universities.
Public Gratitude:
At the conclusion, Registrar Dr. V.C. Garg thanked all the principals and urged them to ensure that internal and practical exam marks are uploaded on the university portal by January 8th.
The workshop saw participation from approximately 160 college principals, including Dr. Mukesh Barber, Mangilal Bheel, B.L. Verma, and other officials, making it a meaningful initiative toward the successful implementation of the new answer scripts and the education policy.
