Braille Script Day Celebrated at Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, organized a program on Braille Script Day. The event was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony before the idol of Goddess Saraswati.

Dr. Alpana Singh, Head of the Faculty, and Dr. Sapna Mawatwal graced the event as chief guests. Visually impaired student Tanmay Taylor highlighted the necessity, significance, and purpose of Braille script, emphasizing its relevance in the present era. Darsika Kunwar Rathore explained the origin of the Braille script.

In her message, Dr. Alpana Singh elaborated on the importance of Braille Script Day, emphasizing the role of inclusive education in internships and its significance under the National Education Policy. Dr. Sapna Mawatwal also addressed the gathering.

The program was conducted by B.Ed. first-year trainee Darsika Kunwar Rathore and witnessed the presence of faculty members and students from integrated programs, B.Ed., and M.Ed. courses.
