National Youth Day Celebrated with Group Discussion and Yoga at Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education at Mohanlal Sukhadia University organized a group discussion and yoga session on the occasion of National Youth Day. The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Alpana Singh, Head of the Faculty of Education, along with faculty members Dr. Kumud Purohit, Dr. Sapna Mawatwal, and Dr. Munmun Sharma. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Nisha Singhvi, Dr. Monika Jaroli, and Dr. Meena Purbia extended a warm welcome to all attendees.

The group discussion witnessed active participation from first-year, second-year, and third-year students of the Integrated Course, as well as first-year B.Ed. trainees.

In her message, Dr. Alpana Singh highlighted the importance of such events, stating that they are immensely beneficial for students. She encouraged everyone to adopt Swami Vivekananda as a role model in their lives.

Dr. Kumud Purohit shared her insights on Karma Yoga and Advaita Vedanta. Dr. Sapna Mawatwal reflected on Swami Vivekananda's Philosophy of Education, while Dr. Munmun Sharma discussed the Harmony between Religion and Science. Dr. Meena Purbia presented her views on Women Empowerment. Several students, including Jaswant Bahadur, Deepak Pandya, Nupur Joshi, Mansi Meena, Mandru Gurjar, and Krishnakant, also expressed their thoughts during the session.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Munmun Sharma and Dr. Nisha Singhvi. The joint anchoring was managed by Vaibhav Shrimali and Khushi, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Tina Ojha.

The event saw the participation of esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Monika Jaroli, Dr. Anupa Sharma, Dr. Anju Vyas, Dr. Nisha Sharma, Dr. Meena Purbia, Dr. Ritu Singh, Dr. Deepa Meena, Dr. Kirti Jain, Dr. Chanchal Nagda, Swati Lodha, Dr. Kiran Ranawat, and Dr. Himanshu Bhatt. Students from all years of the Integrated Course and B.Ed. first year were also present, making the celebration a grand success.
