Inclusion of Urbanized Areas in Municipal Limits to Boost Development

Udaipur, December 26. The notification to include urbanized areas of peri-urban panchayats near the Udaipur Municipal Corporation limits has been issued. Udaipur Dehat District Congress Committee President, Kachru Lal Chaudhary, described this as a victory for the common people and stated that it will ensure proper development of these areas.

Earlier, the Udaipur Dehat District Congress Committee had submitted a memorandum to the state government through the district collector, urging the inclusion of these peri-urban panchayats in the municipal limits.

Udaipur Dehat District Congress spokesperson, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, said that bringing urbanized panchayats into the municipal limits will provide relief to the public. Moreover, thousands of local residents in colonies approved by the Urban Development Authority will benefit from essential services like roads, streetlights, water connections, and waste disposal in a timely manner.
