Udaipur : Tribal Development Minister Babulal Kharadi emphasized the importance of values in Indian life, with philanthropy being the most significant. He shared this thought as the chief guest during the inauguration of the free disability medical camp at the Seva Mahatirth Campus of Narayan Seva Sansthan on Saturday. He also highlighted that the idea of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is a legacy of Sanatan culture, urging everyone to contribute to the country's development while preserving this heritage.
He appealed to the public to take an active role in the empowerment of the disabled and weaker sections of society.
The event was chaired by City MLA Tarachand Jain, who stated that earlier, disabled individuals were considered unfortunate, but today, with joint efforts from the government and society, disabled individuals play a significant role in the development of the family and nation. He also praised Narayan Seva Sansthan for its 35 years of dedicated work towards the empowerment of the disabled.
On this occasion, dignitaries such as Nanalal Ahari, Pammie Pahadiya, Dr. Sonika Jain, Bhanwar Bhatt, Tushar Mehta, Anil Agarwal, and Anil Harkawat interacted with the disabled patients and distributed wheelchairs, artificial limbs, and fruits to them.
The founder of the institution, Kailash 'Manav', and president Prashant Agarwal honored the guests with Mewadi Pag, Uparna, and mementos. Trustee Devendra Chobisa gave an overview of the institution's 40 years of service. The event was coordinated by Mahim Jain, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Vishnu Sharma Hitaishi, the media in-charge of the institution.
