Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test-2025: Administration Gears Up for Smooth Conduct

Udaipur, The district administration has intensified preparations for the upcoming Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET)-2024, scheduled for February 27 and 28 by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer. Under the direction of District Collector Namit Mehta, Team Udaipur is fully prepared. Exam Coordinator and ADM Administration, Deependra Singh Rathore, conducted a meeting with area and zonal officers on Monday. Additionally, training for center superintendents, paper coordinators, and flying squads was organized at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Residency.

Exam Schedule and Participation

In Udaipur, REET-2024 will be conducted in three shifts across 55 centers. On February 27, Level 1 will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with 18,280 candidates appearing. The second shift, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, will accommodate 18,152 Level 2 candidates. On February 28, another 18,268 candidates will take the Level 2 exam in the morning session.

Pre-Exam Inspections by Area and Zonal Officers on February 26

During a meeting held at Residency School, ADM Rathore instructed area and zonal officers to inspect their allocated centers on February 26. They will ensure the removal of any charts or electronic devices from classrooms and verify that no photocopy machines or internet facilities exist in the designated areas for exam papers. The meeting was attended by ADM City War Singh, Land Acquisition Officer Kirti Rathore, UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar, UDA OSD Jitendra Ojha, Smart City ACEO KP Singh Chauhan, Additional Commissioner of the Devasthan Department Ashok Kumar, TAD Deputy Commissioner Ragini Damor, Deputy Director of Autonomous Governance Vinod Kumar, and Control Room Incharge Dr. Mahamaya Prasad Chaubisa, among others.

100-Meter Exam Center Perimeter Restrictions

As per board guidelines and directives from the Chief Secretary, hostels within a 100-meter radius of exam centers will remain closed. Additionally, e-Mitra and photocopy shops will be shut down to maintain security and prevent any malpractice.

Help Desks and Accommodation for Candidates

To assist outstation candidates, the Municipal Corporation has set up help desks and identified three community buildings, each with a 100-bed capacity for lodging. A dedicated control room has also been established, reachable at 0294-2414620. Dr. Mahamaya Prasad Chaubisa (9829430220), Lecturer at Maharana Sanskrit College, will oversee its operations until the completion of the examination.

Strict Adherence to Board Guidelines

A training session for center superintendents, paper coordinators, and flying squads was conducted at the Residency School Auditorium in the presence of ADM Deependra Singh Rathore. Experts briefed them on their responsibilities as per board guidelines. ADM Rathore emphasized that ensuring a transparent examination process is a government priority, with continuous monitoring by the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary. He urged all personnel involved to perform their duties diligently and strictly adhere to the board’s instructions.

The session was attended by ADM City War Singh, education department officials, exam center superintendents, paper coordinators, and flying squad members.
