Udaipur Welcomes Anti-Drug Campaign Journey

Udaipur: The Rotary District 3055-led Anti-Drug Campaign Journey, initiated from Mumbai, was warmly welcomed at Rotary Bajaj Bhavan upon its arrival in Udaipur.

Club President Anil Chhajed shared that former District Governor Nirmal Singhi, President Anil Chhajed, and Secretary Bharat Saruparia welcomed Dr. Harshad Udeshi from Rotary Club Mumbai, along with members Dr. Siddharth Desai and Vishal Patwa.

Dr. Udeshi informed that the campaign, covering 10,000 kilometers, is nearing its final phase and urged collective efforts for a drug-free India. He encouraged Rotary members to launch initiatives against nicotine, alcohol, drugs, and addiction. Former District Governor Nirmal Singhi also shared his views on the mission.

Through this journey, Rotary has reached over 36 cities, spreading awareness among youth and guiding them against digital addiction. President Anil Chhajed announced the club's goal to administer an anti-drug pledge to 10,000 young individuals this year. The campaign will proceed via Bangalore and Kolkata before concluding in Mumbai.

The event was attended by Ro. P.L. Pujari, Ro. Munish Goyal, Ro. Rakesh Maheshwari, Ro. Padam Duggar, Ro. Pulkit Banthia, Ro. Nambanani, and other members. The session concluded with Secretary Dr. Bharat Saruparia expressing gratitude towards Dr. Udeshi and his team for their commendable initiative.
