Pankaj Sharma's Strong Reaction to the Repeal of 9 Districts and 3 Divisions by BJP Government

Udaipur, The BJP government in Rajasthan has decided to revoke the creation of 9 districts and 3 new divisions established during the tenure of the Congress government. This decision has sparked a sharp response from Pankaj Kumar Sharma, General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, who termed the move as anti-people.

Pankaj Kumar Sharma stated that the districts and divisions formed under the leadership of the Gehlot government were based on public demand and administrative necessity. Their establishment was carried out following the recommendations of a committee led by a retired IAS officer. He further highlighted that the decision aimed to provide improved administrative services to the people of Rajasthan.

Sharma emphasized that the historic move by the Gehlot government had already begun delivering benefits in terms of increased transparency and efficiency in governance. The formation of new districts and divisions allowed for quicker resolution of local issues and better administrative support for the residents.

Calling the BJP government’s decision a direct affront to public sentiment, Sharma criticized it as an attempt to weaken the rights of the people. He described the move as undemocratic and anti-people, asserting that it reflects the BJP’s authoritarian and regressive attitude.
