Udaipur. A grand Christmas Carnival and Alumni Meet 2024 were organized with great enthusiasm on the sprawling campus of Delhi Public School, Udaipur. The event was inaugurated by the chief guest, Udaipur District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal, who cut the ribbon to mark the beginning of the celebrations. The program commenced with a captivating rally dance performance by the primary department’s young children, dressed in colorful costumes, enchanting all the guests. Following this, the students mesmerized the audience with orchestral performances, Christmas carols, and group songs, creating a magical atmosphere. Approximately 10,000 students from the school and Udaipur, along with their parents, enjoyed the festivities.
Vice Principal Rajesh Dhabhai shared that the Christmas Carnival featured a variety of entertaining games for children, parents, and visitors, including shooting, lucky dip, fishing, ringing the article, car racing, balls in the bucket, tic-tac-toe, feeding the joker, seven up seven down, archer dart, and a selfie booth. Additionally, numerous stalls offering a wide range of delicious and tangy delicacies were set up, which everyone relished.
The chief guest praised the entire program, the children’s talent, and their enthusiasm. The carnival’s grand finale was the much-anticipated lucky draw. Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal and Additional District Magistrate Rajeev Dwivedi graced the closing ceremony as special guests and announced the winners of the lucky draw, presenting them with prizes.
Principal Sanjay Narwaria highlighted that alongside the carnival, the school hosted the Alumni Meet 2024 for former students. Around 200 alumni, who graduated after 2012 and are now excelling in various fields across India and abroad, participated with immense enthusiasm and joy. The alumni meet featured vibrant performances of singing, instrumental music, and dance to welcome the former students. They shared their experiences and provided insights into higher education and their professional journeys. Revisiting their childhood memories, they enthusiastically participated in various games and activities, expressing their happiness.
The event was graced by Pro Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal, management committee members Mrs. Mani Agrawal, Deepak Agrawal, and Devesh Agrawal. Their presence boosted the morale of everyone involved. They extended their wishes to the parents and students for progress and success in the upcoming year.
