In recognition of his remarkable services in tribal areas, Jagdish Prasad Joshi, Director of the Udaipur Division of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, has been awarded the prestigious "Adi Gaurav Samman" by the Honorable President of India. Shri Joshi, who serves as Vice President of Rajasthan Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad and a retired officer, has dedicated his life to the welfare of tribal communities and rural development.
Shri Jagdish Prasad Joshi, known for his selfless service, left behind a prosperous family life to work in remote tribal regions, embracing the spirit of "Village Development for National Development." With a vision to transform villages into model communities, his primary focus has been on livestock and agricultural advancement. Despite being over 90 years old, Shri Joshi continues to work with the enthusiasm of a young volunteer.
The Vivekananda Kendra, Udaipur, honored Shri Joshi today, with many attendees drawing inspiration from his service.
