**Udaipur,  Aadhar Foundation and CPS School jointly launched the Good Samaritan Award on Tuesday to promote road safety awareness. The event also marked the beginning of Helmet Day. The chief guest was Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar, a member of the former royal family, and the special guests were social worker Chandragupta Singh Chauhan, MB Superintendent Dr. R.L. Suman, and CPS Chairperson Dr. Alka Sharma.

Mrs. Mewar emphasized the importance of starting road safety practices at home and following traffic rules personally while inspiring others to do the same. She mentioned that the esteemed Mr. Arvind Singh Mewar also consistently encourages their drivers to strictly follow traffic rules and prioritize road safety.

Dr. Alka Sharma highlighted the priority of educating children about helmet awareness. Traffic Deputy Superintendent Netrapal Singh provided important suggestions during the event.

Narayan Chaudhary of Aadhar Foundation stated that 22 individuals were honored for their significant role in saving lives in road accidents. In addition, the Helmet Roshan Campaign was launched in honor of Chandrashekhar Azad's birthday. Event coordinator Preeti Pamecha welcomed the guests and outlined the objectives of the program. Students from Rockwoods, Alok, and Indo American Public School gave cultural performances.

Narayan Chaudhary appealed to people to become good Samaritans by not just taking photos or videos of accident victims but by helping them reach the hospital and assisting in their treatment. He explained that the fear of getting involved often makes people ignore accident victims, but this award aims to encourage timely aid and save lives. The event also received support from the BCI.
