Indian Culture Recognized Globally for Cooperative Spirit:Gautam Dak

**Udaipur,  Indian culture has given the cooperative spirit global recognition, and cooperation is a crucial link for social and economic development. This was stated by Cooperative Minister Gautam Dak during a tree plantation program at the Saras Dairy Plant campus in Govardhan Vilas on the occasion of International Cooperative Day. The event was organized under the grand tree plantation campaign in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for the "One Tree for Mother" initiative.


Minister Dak encouraged cooperative institutions to undertake extensive tree plantation and sapling distribution to raise public awareness about environmental balance. He emphasized the importance of cooperative efforts in promoting greenery and environmental sustainability.

**Progress through Cooperative Promotion of Minor Forest Produce: TAD Minister Kharadi**

Tribal Affairs Minister Babulal Kharadi, who also participated in the plantation, highlighted the role of cooperatives in enhancing minor forest produce. He emphasized the use of organic fertilizers, pesticides, pruning, collection, processing, packing, and branding to ensure that farmers receive quality products at fair prices directly from cooperatives, bypassing middlemen. The Tribal Affairs Department plans to adopt new technologies and innovations through LAMPS and Rajsangh.

Kharadi also noted the significant role of cooperatives, animal husbandry, and dairying in doubling farmers' incomes. Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, while planting a tree, stressed the need for full computerization of primary cooperative institutions at the panchayat level. He hailed the establishment of a separate Ministry of Cooperation by the Prime Minister as a milestone for progress and development. 

Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya pointed out that the central government’s public welfare schemes dedicated to the cooperative spirit have led to sweet and blue revolutions following the white and green revolutions, focusing on fisheries and innovative honey production through beekeeping, fostering employment.

Earlier, Udaipur Dairy Chairman Dalchand Dangi welcomed Cooperative Minister Gautam Dak, TAD Minister Babulal Kharadi, Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya, and other dignitaries with floral garlands. He emphasized the ongoing tree plantation at the dairy campus and the significant role of farmers and livestock keepers in environmental balance through primary milk producer committees.

The event was attended by former MLA Nanalal Ahari, former district head Shantilal Meghwal, former chief Takht Singh Shaktawat, social worker Pramod Samar, Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, Gajpal Singh Rathore, Devnarayan Dhabhai, Shantilal Sharma, Keshav Chhajed, Hajari Jain, Amrit Menaria, Hansa Hingad, Devendra Sahu, Devilal Salvi, Karan Singh Shaktawat, Khubilal Paliwal, Khushbu Malviya, Anil Kumawat, Ramesh Jeengar, Rajkumari Ganna, Shailendra Chauhan, additional registrar PP Mandot, deputy registrar Rajkumar Khandia, Dairy Union managing director Vipin Sharma, and other officials, employees, and local dignitaries.
