Bhagwati Prasad Kalal, Director of Mines and Geology Department, has underscored the critical need to prioritize delineation efforts in illegal mining-prone areas and extensive afforestation in mining zones. He emphasized the adoption of e-filing systems and minimizing turnaround times for pending cases. Kalal highlighted the imminent auction readiness of mining blocks in illegal mining zones, aiming to effectively curb unauthorized mining activities. Further directives included the mandatory adoption of e-filing systems across all mining department offices to streamline administrative processes. Kalal also emphasized the prompt handling of assembly questions, inquiries through the chief minister's contact portal, and important correspondences related to mining operations. He instructed swift action on pending mining leases and highlighted ongoing delineation efforts in 2,298 hectares of illegal mining-prone areas across Jaipur, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, and Tonk.
