With deep sorrow, it is informed that Shri Ashok Mathur, a respected literary scholar, educationist, and former Deputy Director at SIERT, Udaipur, later serving at RPSC Ajmer, as an expert passed away unexpectedly. His passing marks the end of an era of wisdom, literary brilliance, and public service.
His last rites will be held today at 11:30 AM at Ashok Nagar Mokshdham, Udaipur. The funeral procession will begin from his residence: 404, Daya Apartment, 4th Floor, near Abhay Bagh, Sardarpura, Udaipur.
Shri Mathur was widely recognized for his valuable contributions to English literature and had been a pillar of support to the Royal Harbinger team for over a decade, enriching it with his sharp intellect, insightful writings, and unwavering commitment to literary excellence. His thoughtful columns and critical essays had a profound impact on readers, bridging classical thought and contemporary discourse.
Before his retirement, he served with distinction at SIERT, RPC Division and later contributed significantly at RPSC Ajmer, where he was admired for his deep knowledge, administrative skills, and dedication to educational reforms.
He is survived and deeply mourned by his family:
Dr. Richa Mathur (Daughter), Rahul Mathur (Son-in-law), Pavitra Mathur (Daughter), Raju Mathur (Son-in-law), Aseem Mathur (Son), Dr. Garima Mathur (Daughter-in-law), Tanvi, Isha, Harshabh, Gargi (Granddaughters), and Dhruv (Grandson).
