Mobile Connectivity and High-Speed Internet Reaching Remote Villages through 4G Saturation Project

Udaipur, The first meeting of the Telecom Advisory Committee, formed by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Udaipur, was held at the Sanchar Bhawan auditorium, Hiran Magri, on Monday in the presence of Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, Jalore MP Loomba Ram Choudhary, and Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia.
Principal General Manager Hari Prasad Meena welcomed all and briefed about the 4G Saturation Project, under which 399 mobile towers were targeted for villages without any network. Of these, 281 towers have been installed and activated, providing mobile connectivity and high-speed internet to rural areas.
Meena also shared that compared to the previous financial year, the Udaipur Business Area has achieved 8.43% EBITDA growth.

MPs Raise Network Issues
MP Mannalal Rawat highlighted network issues in various villages, including Popalti, Amri, Bagdara, Ravadia Khurd, Avani, and Majam. Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia reviewed BSNL's performance compared to other operators and suggested service improvements.
Jalore MP Loomba Ram Choudhary pointed out that some towers have been installed but connectivity is pending, and he provided a list of areas needing towers.

Committee members including Jayashankar Rao, and BSNL officials Mahendra Kumar Sharma, Sumit Dosi, M.B. Patel, Ashish Shah, and Rajmal Reger attended.
The meeting was conducted by Giriraj Paliwal, and a vote of thanks was delivered by Deputy General Manager Sumit Dosi.
