Free Community Wedding for Eligible Couples on May 17 – Applications Open Until May 5

Udaipur: In a remarkable initiative by Shri Eklignath National Seva Sansthan, applications are now being accepted until May 5 for couples wishing to participate in a free-of-cost community wedding ceremony scheduled for May 17, 2025. The event is open to eligible couples from all communities, particularly those who are unable to afford a traditional wedding due to financial constraints.

Founder President Akash Bagdi shared that no fees will be collected from the bride or groom, and all arrangements, including wedding attire, food, rituals, and procession, will be fully managed by the organization.

The wedding day will feature a grand procession starting at 3 PM from Bohra Ganeshji Temple, culminating at Satyam Garden near Mahasatiya Chouraha. The procession will include elephants, horses, decorated carriages, and traditional bands. A devotional musical evening in the name of Maa Ambe will follow the marriage rituals.

Bagdi mentioned that 50 guests from each family will be invited, ensuring an inclusive yet intimate celebration. Couples wishing to apply can call 9358387480 to register.

Vinod Pandey and Nirmal Kumar Pandit, patrons of the organization, emphasized that both the bride and groom must be of legal age and mutually consenting. The entire event will be dowry-free with no exchange of gifts or money, upholding the spirit of simplicity and equality.

The organization also urges leaders and secretaries of various community groups to help identify and connect such deserving couples with the event to ensure maximum outreach and benefit.
