Udaipur – Member of Parliament Mannalal Rawat, along with his family, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Parliament. Various topics were discussed during the meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a warm and familial conversation with MP Rawat and his family. Dr. Mannalal Rawat and Dr. Rajni P. Rawat presented their book Atal Namo Path to the Prime Minister. The book highlights BJP and NDA’s policies, traditions, and constitutional achievements concerning tribal communities.

It is noteworthy that during the tenure of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes were established to support tribal welfare. Continuing this vision, Narendra Modi’s government has launched initiatives such as Tribal Pride Day, political reservation for tribes extended till 2029, the ₹24,000 crore PM Janman Scheme, Van Dhan Yojana, and the ₹80,000 crore Dharati Aaba Tribal Excellence Village Campaign. Additionally, under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, historical tribal heroes and heritage sites have been recognized and celebrated. The book Atal Namo Path chronicles the journey of tribal development from Vajpayee’s era to the present under Narendra Modi.

During the meeting, Dr. Rajni Rawat also mentioned the letters sent by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan since 2016 and presented one such letter. The Prime Minister inquired about Dr. Rajni’s Udaipuri Rasoi YouTube channel and curiously asked whether people comment on the videos. He also took an interest in the education and future aspirations of the MP’s children, displaying a simple and humble demeanor throughout the interaction.
