Udaipur: The Rajasthan Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad Kotda will organize a Janjati Gaurav Mahotsav on November 16, 2024, at 11 AM at the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram premises in Kotda, on the occasion of Birsa Munda Jayanti (Janjati Gaurav Divas).
Ghevar Chand from the Rajasthan Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad informed that the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, will be the chief guest at the event.
The program will also be attended by Satendra Singh, National President of Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad; Bhagwan Sahai, All India Co-organization Minister and Senior Campaigner of Kalyan Ashram; and Babulal Kharadi, Cabinet Minister of Rajasthan Government.
**Exhibition of Embroidered Items Made by Tribal Women:**
The festival will feature an exhibition of beautiful embroidered items made by tribal women. A total of 74 women from 10 villages in the Jhadol region are supporting their families through this project. They were trained in embroidery techniques on materials such as jute, bags, and sacks. The initiative began in the Goran village of Jhadol tehsil with 10 women and continues to grow. The embroidery work is carried out in Udaipur. Furthermore, the "Kamli" (sports equipment) brand by Namrata Skill Development Center has now become quite popular.
The event organizers urge all tribal brothers and sisters to participate in this grand conference in their traditional attire.
