Colonel Jangvir Lamba, a fourth-generation serving officer in the Indian Army hailing from Jaipur, Rajasthan, etched his name into endurance history by successfully completing the IRONMAN 140.6 Triathlon held in Penghu, Taiwan, on 13th April 2025.
Competing in the 50–54 age category, the 53-year-old Col Lamba completed the grueling challenge—consisting of a 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycling, and a 42.2 km full marathon—in an impressive time of 14 hours, 53 minutes, and 34 seconds. His achievement stands as a shining example of how determination, courage, and willpower can defy the constraints of age.
