CYCLE EXPEDITION BY SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND  IN COLLABORATION WITH HINDAYAN FOUNDATION

In a remarkable display of endurance, determination, and camaraderie, the Sapta Shakti Command in collaboration with Hindayan Foundation, successfully conducted a cycle expedition on 10 February 2025 in which 75 soldiers and 20 civilians participated. The expedition was flagged off in a ceremonial event that marked the continuation of a challenging and inspiring journey.

 

The cycle expedition scheduled from 8 to 19 Feb 2025 is routed from New Delhi to Pune via Jaipur, Gandhinagar and Mumbai. The expedition aims to promote the spirit of adventure, resilience, and physical fitness among the troops and also foster awareness about environmental conservation and national unity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Army personnel and members of Hindayan Foundation, who shall collectively pedall across a pre-determined route, overcoming diverse terrains and weather conditions.

 

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Colonel Piyush Mishra commended the troops and participants for their dedication and enthusiasm. He emphasized the significance of such expeditions in strengthening the mental and physical endurance of soldiers and their ability to tackle adversities with courage and determination. He also highlighted the Indian Army’s commitment to fostering a sense of responsibility towards environmental sustainability and community engagement.

 

The expedition covering several key locations, will showcase the Army’s indomitable spirit and discipline. Along the route, the participants will interact with local communities, spreading awareness about health, fitness, and the importance of maintaining ecological balance. Sapta Shakti Command remains steadfast in its mission to instill the values of discipline, resilience and environmental consciousness among its personnel and the wider community.
