### Inauguration of Internship Program with Medical Department on My Bharat Portal

*Udaipur,  Under the Government of India's Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports' 'Learn from Service' initiative, the Nehru Yuva Kendra in Udaipur launched an internship program with the medical department on Monday. The event's chief guest was Dr. R.L. Suman, Superintendent of Maharana Bhupal Hospital. Dr. Suman provided valuable insights to the 'Learn from Service' volunteers, guiding them on their roles and responsibilities within the hospital. He explained how the volunteers could contribute through activities such as assisting in health card creation, managing outpatient departments (OPDs), and supporting administrative tasks.

Dr. Suman also motivated the youth by emphasizing the importance of the 'learning by doing' principle, stating that engaging in activities firsthand leads to better learning outcomes. During the event, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers discussed the significance of the program. District Youth Officer Shubham Purbia welcomed Dr. Suman and briefed the attendees about the My Bharat Portal and the unique features of this internship program. The volunteers were also given a tour of the hospital, during which Jagdish Ahir provided a detailed overview of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and the operations of the emergency department.
