*Mumbai, - After a long struggle, the much-anticipated film *The Diary of West Bengal*, based on true events in Bengal, is finally scheduled for release. The film will hit theaters on August 30, 2024. It focuses on the violence against Hindus, issues of love jihad, and the deteriorating law and order situation in West Bengal. The film portrays the harsh realities of everyday life, religious violence, political ambitions hidden behind religious conversions, and the dangers of appeasing certain communities for vote-bank politics.
Director Sanoj Mishra shared in Mumbai that creating the film required immense effort, but even more was needed to get it released. Several scenes had to be reshot, and the film faced a long wait for review by the censor board. Finally, it has received the green light for release on August 30. The music of the film is available on Zee Music.
