Eknath Shinde, Salman Khan Unveil Trailer

The 'Dharmaveer 2: Mukkam Post Thane' trailer was launched at a grand event held at the 'Dome' auditorium in Worli, Mumbai. The event was graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Dr. Shrikant Lata Eknath Shinde, and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Honoring the legacy of the late Anand Dighe, the event, which began with a vibrant presentation on Guru Purnima, saw the presence of several Bollywood celebrities, including Jeetendra, Govinda, Boman Irani, Rakul Preet, Jackky Bhagnani, Amruta Khanvilkar, Ashok Saraf, Nivedita Joshi, Mahesh Kothare, and the film's star cast Prasad Oak, Kshitij Date, and Siddharth Jadhav.

The Marathi film 'Dharmaveer 2: Mukkam Post Thane,' scheduled for release on August 9, delves into the challenging journey of social worker and leader Anand Dighe, known during his lifetime as 'Dharmaveer.' The film emphasizes Dighe's profound impact on the Thane region (Maharashtra) and his enduring legacy. Directed by Pravin Tarde, the film features veteran actor Prasad Oak portraying Anand Dighe, while Kshitij Date brings a young Eknath Shinde to life on screen.

At the event, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reminisced about Anand Dighe, stating, "Dighe Sahab's legacy was introduced to audiences in the first film 'Dharmaveer,' but his contributions are so extensive that they cannot be encapsulated in a single film. Hence, the story has been extended into two parts. This new film aims to highlight significant aspects of his influential past. We aspire to follow in the footsteps of Dighe Sahab and Balasaheb Thackeray and dedicate ourselves entirely to their legacy. Dighe Sahab supported not just Hindutva but protected the entire society, helping people of all religions, castes, and sects without any bias. No needy person ever left his presence without receiving help."

Bollywood star Salman Khan added, "I was present for the screening of the first film, which was a big hit, and I hope and pray that this one becomes an even bigger hit."

Directed by Pravin Tarde, 'Dharmaveer 2: Mukkam Post Thane' promises to be a cinematic milestone. The filmmakers are confident that this film, showcasing the extraordinary journey of a leader dedicated to the nation, will continue to inspire generations to follow the path of righteousness and duty.
