Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar Honored with Gold Medal in MBA

Udaipur:At the convocation ceremony of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Deemed-to-be University held on Friday, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the former royal family of Mewar, was awarded the Gold Medal for outstanding academic performance in the MBA program.

The medal was presented by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat along with Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot.

Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh drew special attention when he chose to sit among the student section instead of occupying a VVIP seat. He remarked that treating universities with the same reverence as ancient gurukuls brings deep joy to the heart.

Recently, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh was also conferred with an honorary Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) by Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil University, Pune. Earlier in 2022, he received a similar honorary D.Litt. degree from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.
