76th Republic Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Vikrant University

Gwalior,  The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal at Vikrant University. On this historic occasion, the Chancellor, Mr. Rakesh Singh Rathore, hoisted the national flag. Following this, Vice Chancellor Prof. Amarika Singh, Chancellor Mr. Vikrant Singh Rathore, Treasurer Mrs. Gunjan Rathore, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. P.S. Chauhan, and other senior officials inspected the NCC cadet parade held within the university premises.

The NCC cadets showcased an impressive parade, and their discipline and dedication were applauded by everyone present.

Two special staff members, Mr. Birendra Singh (Gardener) and Mr. Rajesh Singh (Sanitation Worker), were honored with shawls and coconuts for their exceptional service. This recognition was given in appreciation of their dedication and hard work.

A significant moment was when Shrishti Bais, a BA LLB student, was awarded the Vikrant Ratna for her outstanding contribution to university activities. Along with this prestigious award, she was also honored with the unique opportunity to serve as the Acting Chancellor for a day. This initiative aimed to inspire and motivate students.

In his address, Chancellor Mr. Rakesh Singh Rathore encouraged students to respect and adhere to the Constitution. He emphasized that this day reminds us of the importance of our Constitution and national duties. He urged everyone to work with a sense of service to the country.

At the end of the ceremony, students and teachers together participated in a Tiranga Rally, symbolizing patriotism and unity.

This ceremony was attended by key members of the university, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Amarika Singh, Pro Chancellor Mr. Vikrant Singh Rathore, Treasurer Mrs. Gunjan Rathore, Registrar Mrs. Richa Verma, Pro VC Dr. P.S. Chauhan, and many prominent faculty members and students.

The entire event was conducted by Deputy Registrar K.D. Pathak, with the involvement of department heads, professors, and a large number of students who made this historic day memorable.

On this Republic Day, Vikrant University reaffirmed its commitment to patriotism, dedication, and its continued contribution to the field of education.
