District Collector Holds Meeting on R.A.S. Preliminary Exam-2024 Arrangements

Jaisalmer, The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer, has scheduled the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam-2024 on February 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. District Collector Pratap Singh held a meeting with the concerned officials regarding the arrangements for the exam in the district and instructed them to ensure full transparency in conducting the exam at the centers, making sure all arrangements are thoroughly completed in time. He emphasized that the state government is very serious about the exam and no official should show any negligence in this matter.

The instructions were given during a meeting on Wednesday in the District Collectorate meeting room, attended by Additional District Collector Pawan Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rup Singh Inda, Treasury Officer Derawar Singh Rathore, Chief District Education Officer Shankar Singh Udawat, District Education Officer Secondary Ramanivas Sharma, and other officials related to the exam.

The District Collector instructed the officials to carefully review the "Examination Guidelines" issued by the commission and ensure they are followed meticulously for conducting the exam with full transparency at all centers. He also directed that the control room at the District Collector's office be operational from January 31, as per the commission's instructions. Additionally, he instructed the timely appointment of supervisors, coordinators, vigilance teams, center superintendents, and videographers, as well as the appointment of a nodal officer for complete police arrangements.

The District Collector emphasized that all officers involved in the exam process are experienced and should use their expertise to ensure the R.A.S. Preliminary Exam is conducted with high security and complete transparency. He also emphasized the significant role of center superintendents and instructed them to ensure strict compliance with the commission’s guidelines.

Additional District Collector Pawan Kumar informed that the R.A.S. Preliminary Exam will be held on May 2, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, across 21 exam centers in the district headquarters. He also briefed the officials on the main guidelines from the commission and instructed them to ensure the peaceful conduct of the exam.
