A special academic session was organized at the College of Fisheries Science, Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya. The session featured a lecture by Ashish Sahu, a PhD researcher from Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, on "Modern Techniques and Applications in Fisheries Science."

During the lecture, Sahu shed light on the e-DNA (environmental DNA) technology, emphasizing its role in identifying aquatic species and conducting ecological studies using microscopic genetic material present in water. He highlighted its significance in biodiversity management and the conservation of rare species.

Students showed keen interest in the session, engaging with insightful questions about the scientific applications and potential of e-DNA technology.
