Udaipur. The Olympic Festival, organized in collaboration with the cultural branch of the French Embassy, Alliance Française, and the French Institute, will be held at Third Space from July 26 to August 11. This festival will feature various sports-related workshops, three panel discussions, a table tennis tournament, and more. This information was provided during a press conference held on Wednesday by Ketan Bhatt, CEO of Dhrohar, Rohit Jani, Head of Partnerships at Dhrohar, and Alexander Gilardo, a representative of the French Embassy.

Ketan Bhatt shared that several discussions on various topics will be organized with renowned players from the country and the city. These discussions will be held every Saturday with athletes who have represented India in the Olympics, honored coaches from Udaipur, and national-level athletes from Udaipur. To encourage Indian athletes participating in the Olympics, a fan zone will also be set up at Third Space, where people can enjoy the Olympic games on a big screen.

Rohit Jani mentioned that in addition to this, there will be an interesting exhibition on the history of the Olympics for visitors. The festival will commence with a five-kilometer marathon on the morning of July 26. Members from various industrial and commercial organizations, numerous athletes from the city, and the Mewari Cyclist Club will participate in this marathon. Various school bands will boost the enthusiasm of these athletes at different locations. Additionally, in collaboration with the French Embassy, screenings of various famous sports-related films will be held at very low prices for the general public in Third Space Cinema, while these films will be shown to schools free of charge. The purpose of this Olympic Festival is to raise awareness and interest in the Olympic Games among people. Apart from cricket, there are many interesting sports that people are less familiar with, and this festival aims to increase awareness of these sports. It also provides an opportunity for sports enthusiasts in the city to receive guidance from sports experts through various discussions.

Ketan Bhatt also mentioned that film screenings in the newly constructed cinema hall at Third Space will start from July 27. This 180-seat cinema hall features 35 recliners and other comfortable seats. The hall also includes wheelchair seating to ensure that physically challenged individuals can easily enjoy the cinema. Equipped with advanced technology, this cinema features the Barco SP4K laser projector, the first of its kind in Udaipur, which includes 3D projection. The high-quality QSC 7.1 channel Dolby sound system will provide viewers with an excellent sound experience.

Rohit Jani stated that Third Cinema aims to offer audiences a high-quality cinema experience and entertainment with selected content, making it different from regular cinemas. Another aim of this cinema is to provide a platform for emerging filmmakers in Udaipur. Filmmakers from Udaipur will have the opportunity to showcase their films in this cinema hall.
